Actum4 has participated to Datathon 2019 organized by the European Data Incubator (EDI) in Berlin.
In this event, Actum4 participated as members of the ‘Explore’ category, where the commission spent time discussing with the partners the main characteristics of the project put forward. Actum4’s project, called DRUINS , involves installing sensors in strategically chosen areas of a city in order to obtain a detailed analysis of noise pollution, helping local councils to create policies to successfully tackle the issue. The project sees the cooperation of the University of Cantabria to act as a data provider.
Projections for the DRUINS initiative suggest that great profit can be earned within a span of five years, claiming to amount to a total of 1.2M Euros.
